Regarding getting automatic columns in sql`

I have basically 50 fields in the table, and I want to regularly select these fields from the table.

Problem : I have to write all these 50 fields manually.

Is there a shortcut in intellisence or any other tool where I can get all the fields. automatically by pressing a tool.

Also guys, if someone knows additional sql..then add-ons here, please write here.

I'm a little late to the party here (the answer is already accepted), but here anyway ...

Did you know that you can drag and drop columns from a table into the editor window into the Sql server management studio?

So, to get the columns, you can expand the table in SSMS, click on the Columns element (due to the lack of a better word) and drag it into the editor window. When you release, a comma-separated list of all columns of the table will be inserted into the editor at the position you are pointing to.

This is not as easy as autoexpanding * , but it is a good little trick when you have many columns.

try the following:

 select name+',' from sys.columns where object_id=OBJECT_ID('tablename')

Now you just need to copy the result and put it after the select keyword
