Possible Causes The Aspx Crystal Report Viewer will hang indefinitely on IIS 7.5 in certain reports?

It's a little shot in the dark, but I'm really stuck here.

I have an asp.net MVC application that spits out some reports in PDF format. This works great on Windows Server 2003 / IIS6, Local Dev Server, and Win 7 / IIS7.

When I switch to IIS 7.5 / Server 2008, some reports freeze indefinitely without error or trace writing. They just keep spinning, it would seem, forever, the request will never be refused from the server.

Some reports do this, some do not do this, we had a lot of people who look at the reports and cannot find any distinguishable differences.

Does anyone have any tips: Why am I never getting an error / timeout? Why will some crystal reports fail while others are fine?

It works 100% in any other environments. I did some SQL tracing and the database commands start and end almost instantly, there is no freeze there.

I have 64 and 32 bit chip runtimes installed on the server. (Allow a 32-bit value for true for the application pool).

I have the same setup elsewhere and it does not work without problems in Win 7 / IIS 7.

I temporarily added the application user to local administrators and gave him full access to both databases

As with the dossiers, a default printer that is not on the system caused this problem. Make sure you a) install the printer on the server or b) that the printer is not installed by default.

I chose the "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" printer. To do this, go to the report in Designer-> Design-> Page-Setup and select.
