Android App Update on Google Play - Android Developer Console

I am trying to update my Android app to the latest version. In the Google Play Developer Console for Android - Advanced Mode - I downloaded the new APK, deactivated the older version, activated the updated version and hit SAVE.

I do not see any messages after clicking the SAVE button.

When I return to the console, do I still see that the older version is active?

I tried the same in simple mode, but the same result.

Are there any problems with SAVE - Could this message be incorrect?

Or do I need to wait (30 minutes to a day or so) to see the changes?

I searched here and on Google, but could not find any explanation.

When you click the "Save" button, the button should go to "save ..." within about 5-20 seconds:

After that, in the center of the screen at the top you will see a message saying that the changes were successfully saved:

I am sorry that the text in the photographs is presented in Dutch, but you understand.

Before an update appears on the Play Store for users, this can take about 12 hours. If this still does not work, try using a different browser to see if it matters.

I had this problem with Chrome, and I found that this is due to the fact that I have ABP (Ad Block Plus) enabled. I guess this prevented the popup from appearing at the bottom of the button. I disabled ABP on this site and everything was fine after the update.
