Is there a way to adjust the size of the icon in the Eclipse workspace?

I am running the Eclipse IDE through Parallels on a Retina MacBook Pro.

Parallels automatically adjusts font sizes in Windows to cope with Retina screen resolution. So everything looks good.

The problem is that the icons in the workspace are still the same size and, as such, look so tiny that they are almost impossible to see.

I would like to tell Eclipse to resize the icons (maybe x2 or x4). I don't care if they look blocky, only I see them.

Is this possible?

To preempt obvious answers:

  • I need to use the IDE on Windows (due to JNI libraries).
  • Also restarting directly in Bootcamp will not solve the problem unless I reduce the resolution. What defeats the purpose of additional screen real estate.

Turning to the Eclipse 3.x UI Rules , this is currently not possible. Icons (for example, a toolbar) have a maximum size of 16 pixels.

Most Eclipse style icons are created in a 16 x 16 pixel area. This is the final section size of the image.

Icons can be found here:
