There is a good open source project managed by Yahoo that allows you to get stock prices, exchange rates, technical charts, etc. From yahoo.
Unfortunately, Yahoo does not provide interest rates and interbank rates such as EURIBOR.
I found a link that allows you to get EURIBOR as .csv (French bank). On the Fed site , there is a way to get your interest rates.
The question is: is there an API that allows you to get interest rates from one place (or a project that includes the process of getting bets from different sources)?
EDIT: After searching on Google, I found at least 4 data sources that more or less met the requirements. I hope this is helpful to someone else.
- FRED - Federal Reserve for Economic Data. Provides a complete list of financial data series. It accumulates data from various sources (Eurostat, IMF, etc.). They also have an API that works pretty well.
- Eurostat - Provides statistics on health, education, finance and other areas. They do not have an API, but there is a concept of bulk loading that allows you to receive data programmatically. At the top of this diagram is a table of contents that includes all available data tables with links to real data.
- The ECB is another source of data where you will find interesting financial statistics. They provide SDMX-based services for software data acquisition. There is a good guide that discovers these services.
- World Bank - Provides statistics on health, environment, finance, etc. There is an API to get this data.
Using these data sources, I was able to create a generic interface for receiving data.
