We download new GTFS (mainly ZIP CSV files) from several sources every day to find out if the update is updated. Right now, we just check if the zip itself is different, and update if they are different.
The fact is that in some sources GTFS changes every day. This is a problem for us because it causes offline data to be updated on many devices.
In most cases, the update is insignificant (changed stop name, different identifiers, but the same content, etc.). I want to distinguish the main update (schedule change, new route) from the minor. Diff tools themselves are useless, since each GTFS can have the same content, but with different identifiers and / or order in CSV.
Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a tool that can help?
