Android: standard android.R.drawable icons with a different color

Question

Most of the standard Android icons in android.R.drawable are gray.

I want to use them in a different color that matches my application colors. And I do not want to create copies of these icons and draw them in Photoshop or any drawing application.

Is there a way to change the color in the code?
