I am trying to connect the liferay 6.0.6 document library (installed on Linux and running on tomcat) to an external mounted folder shared by webdav.
I use mount.dafvs to mount folders on Linux, but whenever I create or add via sftp a file to a mounted folder, it does not have 777 permission as its folder and 95% of cases just go to the lost + found folder, leaving it there empty file. Therefore, I can see files downloaded from the portal, but I cannot download files from my Linux machine.
But if I change the permissions of the file to 777, and then edit or download it again from sftp, replacing it, the file will be there and can be viewed / downloaded from the portal too!
any idea on why this is happening, and how can I get this collaboration with R / W options on both sides?
