We have a problem with random products appearing in the basket / basket in the Magento 1.5 store.
This only happens in a new browser session (FF / IE / Chrome). if you are viewing the site, add the product to the basket / basket, then when you view the basket / basket, there are other products in the basket.
Products that are added are NOT a Upsell or Related product. They are not products that might have been added in a previous browser session.
We have removed all the extensions that we can. No IP-based extensions installed.
We have set up HTTP Only = Yes to control the cookie session. and Lifetime up to 5400 is the same as another site that is good.
We also tried setting REMOTE_ADDR and HTTP_USER_AGENT to Yes. (now back to no)
This is not like a theme, because when we switch to a modern theme, it still happens.
The "database" stored the sessions, however we changed it (via local.xml) to a "file" as soon as the problem was noticed, to see if it had changed, but it wasn’t.
In the PHP configuration, session.save_path = tmp and APC caching are disabled.
Has anyone seen something like this or suggested any thing that needs to be checked?
