Install GD Failure

I would like to install the modules needed to run Circos. One of the necessary modules is GD .

  • * OS: Mac OS X Version 10.7.4
  • Installed libgd: brew install libgd *

Following cpan[1]> install GD

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

For this particular module, passing unit tests is pretty hit-or-miss . If you like this one test failure (which is about writing jpeg files ), then just force it.

 cpan[1]> force install GD

or

 $ cpan -f GD

Since test failure is a jpeg problem, you can see if libjpeg and her friends are installed correctly.
