IOS 6 MapKit VoiceOver Reads POIs to Contacts

Question

I have a code that worked perfectly under iOS 5 during testing in VoiceOver. My code adds a collection of MKPinAnnotationViews to MKMapView . My problem with iOS 6 is that the voice acting reads the street names and other POIs (which can be many) before reaching the added contacts. Is there a way to reorder? I can't seem to find Apple's recommendations on how to add pins to cards for iOS 6.
