Does the internal Adobe AIR NetworkInfo extension not support AIR Simulator?

Hi, I downloaded my own AIR NetworkInfo extension (http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/native-extensions-for-air/extensions/networkinfo.html), it works when I test it on ipad, but when I am testing my application on the desktop, I get an error

"Content could not be downloaded due to extension loading problem: Error: The requested com.adobe.Networkinfo extension is not supported for MacOS-x86."

I have other extensions that do not throw this error. I am using Flashbuilder 4.6, and when I look at ActionScript Build Packages for Apple IOS, I see a warning that the extension “Doesn't support AIR Simulator”. I do not want to remove the extension every time I test on the desktop, and should not. Anyone have any ideas what is going on?

This is because ANSI NetworkInfo is compiled for the ART architecture and will not run on your simulator only on a real device. You must make an assembly script so that you do not add or remove each time you want to create an assembly.
