GeoDjango PointField Input

This may be a stupid question, but I did not find the answer. I implemented GeoDjango and PointField, so on the admin page I tried to create a new object, but it always tells me that the coordinates are incorrect, the page has a field similar to a text field, but I don’t know which format is on the right for the coordinates.

I need to hide this field in order to insert coordinates from Google maps, but if I don’t know the format ... this cuold will be difficult.

It looks like you did not enable GeoDjango admin . If you enable the administrator, you can edit this field using the dot and click interface.

If you want to edit it manually using coordinates, try using Well-known text . In principle, it has the form POINT(-96.1 45.2) .
