How to convert CIL to LINQ expression tree

  • Has any work been done to directly convert CIL expression trees to LINQ? This will include class libraries, blogs, books, scientific articles, etc.

  • What are the known inconsistencies between the CIL and the LINQ Expression API? I saw a project that greatly expanded the Expression API to support almost complete mapping between C # and LINQ expressions. What actions will be proposed to address any of these inconsistencies?
