What do I need to create a development environment for development in C # and SQL Server?

I have Visual Studio 2010 installed, but more on that.

I'm not sure what else needs to be installed in order to start accessing the large number of available C # (access to SQL Server).

You have Visual Studio 2010, everything is ready, it comes with a compact SQL library and SQL Express server. You will go well.

SQL Server express will definitely help you.
