PDF iOS Syntax Parsing Type 1 Fonts

I am trying to write a “PDF file for a simple text analyzer” and I use pdfKitten as an example.

My PDF file includes type1 font included in the "standard 14 fonts". Subsequently, the PDF font dictionary does not contain the keys for Wide, FirstChar, LastChar.

I assume that it is one of the “standard 14 fonts” (actually 2, Courier and Courier-bold) that the iOS environment contains these metrics somewhere.

How can I access these metrics?

Standard PDF font metrics are typically created in every PDF viewer application. These metrics were published through their respective .afm files, one for each font. They were available for download from the Adobe website, but now I can not find the link.
You can get these files from any iText / iTextSharp distribution, and I'm sure there are other products that include these files.
