Getting symbolic stack traces from backtrace_symbols () in iOS 6

Prior to iOS 6, calling callStackSymbols () (which also uses [NSException callStackSymbols]) would provide humanoid stack frames. However, with iOS 6 this is no longer the case, and only addresses (e.g. 57 CoreFoundation 0x367ba5db + 118) for Apple libraries are provided.

How can I get a fully symbolic return line in iOS 6?
