Is Visual Studio 2012 looking for a project in the wrong way?

When I try to load the project in VS2012, the download fails and says that it cannot find my project file in location C:\...

But this location is not what is found in the project file or the solution file.

Does anyone know where I can find / change the wrong path?

In my case, I closed the solution; checked workspace mappings; then the inclusion of "viewing hidden folders" in Windows Explorer shows a new (in VS2012) "$ tf" directory and SUO files

I completely deleted the directory on the local hard drive (if I’m not mistaken), and then did "Get a specific version" with the mark "Replace all files, even if local ..."; forcing a full download.

The problem is solved! After rebooting Team Foundation Server, the problem disappeared. The answers to this post give a good summary of what to check in case of problems with projects in Visual Studio. Thank you all for your efforts.
