How can I create an email stack in Gmail?

So, I am developing an application that sends email notifications when people send and respond to a group. An example of an interaction could be:

  • I am making a message. Everyone in my group is notified.
  • Barry is responding to my post. Everyone receives a different notification.
  • Steve answers my post too. Everyone receives a different notification.

A notification letter is sent as if it was sent by whoever it sent the message / response to (this is important and cannot be changed). So on behalf of me / Barry / Steve, and email is the person’s email. The subject line for each email is the subject of the initial message, so for each notification for the same message.

I would like these notifications to flow in Gmail and other clients. However, Gmail (and, presumably, other clients) does not cope with their styling. He fills all the emails of the same person with the same subject, but not the whole conversation. Thus, I get a stream containing all of Barry's responses made to the message, and another stream containing all the answers that Steve made for the message. Obviously, I would like them to interweave reasonably.

I think the header in the response to the address is key, but I'm not sure how to do it. Thank you very much!
