I am running a tramp with an Ubuntu 10.04 LTS server. The local folder on my Mac is installed using NFS, and everything works fine except for one thing.
I am developing a PHP project that uses Twig as a template system, but whenever I modify a template on my Mac and save it, it takes two updates before Twig can load the template. The first update I receive is an exception telling me that the file could not be found. the second update is excellent, and the template loads just fine.
When switching from NFS to the standard VirtualBox file system, everything is fine, but my website developer becomes very slow, almost to the point that it is down.
Does anyone have an idea in which direction to look or have a clear decision?
