Http trace utility

Question

I need to track / spoof http traffic from other computers (e.g. from my Android phone or ios device). In the past, I used MSSOAPT (described here http://www.devproconnections.com/article/net-framework2/microsoft-soap-trace-tool ), and that was fine, I need something like that, and now it should be syntax highlighting for json and be able to unzip content :).

I want to tell my android to go to http: //my.machine.home/Foo? Bar , and this proxy should redirect this to another server, for example http://google.com/Foo?bar , and it should print full traffic.

I would prefer that the solution does not require a proxy server on my device, but simply forward all requests sent to the process.

Take a look at charle proxy , it is very easy to use and fulfills all your requirements.

If you are on Windows, Fiddler is a great free tool.

On other platforms, you can use the free and open source WebScarab . The user interface is not as easy to use as Fiddler, and although it works on Windows, I prefer Fiddler there.
