Is Redis Data Unstable?

I am trying to figure out something, and I searched for a while without any results.

What happens if the Redis server loses power or shuts down or something that destroys RAM? Does the backup save somewhere?

I want to use Redis for a SaaS style application, so if I go to app.com/usernamesapp, it will use redis to check for the existence of usernamesapp and get the identifier ... At what point will it use MySQL for everyone else from the material ... The reasons that I want to start showing the page as soon as possible, and most of the material is javascript, so all MySQL will happen after this fact.

thanks

Redis can be configured to write to disk at regular intervals, so if the server is down, you won’t lose your data. http://redis.io/topics/persistence

From FAQ Redis

Redis - internal memory but persistent database on disk

Thus, a critical failure should not result in data loss. Read more at http://redis.io/topics/faq
