In the sample application, you will see that one of the available docking modes is DockingWindow . This mode does not use the integrated Windows MDI concept.

To have multiple docking levels, you can use the DockPanel for each child document in the main panel, this is fully permitted.

Due to OS limitations, you may experience resizing issues in these tiered scenarios. If so, enable the SupportDeeplyNestedContent property in the DockPanel .
