Styling mode mode: how to remove a border?

I tried in vain to come up with a style that would remove the border around the line of the regime, but do not need ... the face looks like this:

(mode-line-inactive ((,class (:box (:line-width <??> :style none) :background ,tron-berlin-darkest :foreground ,tron-gray-light))))

The values โ€‹โ€‹it takes are 1..N and -1 ..- N, where N is some large number, but 0 or nil not accepted. And he will draw the line for some reason ... Any idea how to get rid of this? Or, if this is impossible for some reason, how to draw a line in a different color?

BTW, if I do not specify any value, the default is 1 ... very useful: /

In addition, if I do not specify :box , the window is created by default: (

EDIT

Sorry, it didnโ€™t matter, I had to put :box nil - this cancels the field and the line around it.

I had to add :box nil to my face to override the default window settings.
