How long does it take to publish updates to my application on Google Play?

I have an app for google play.

I have updated the application to version 1.0.1 and I can check its update on google publishing website.

But on my phones and google play, the app is still at 1.0 and cannot be updated.

How long does it take for Google to publish my update on Google Play?

If you want your application to publish faster. You must publish as alpha before. Publishing in alpha format is necessary for testing in billing applications, and no one will see your application in alpha version, except for your testers. When it comes to production publishing (everyone can see a normal publication in this version), you just need to switch from the alpha version to the working one and that’s it. Your application will live for 10 minutes or less.
