How to select a specific object diagram from the solution explorer

In visual studio 2012, we can divide the structure of an entity framework into several diagrams. However, there seems to be no way to open a specific chart from the solution browser. For now, it seems you need to open the default chart, and then select the chart you want from the model browser, leaving you with the default chart open on your tab. Did I miss something? This is not the end of the world, but it seems pretty obvious what he missed. Logically, I would expect to see each diagram as a child of the / edmx node model node

It seems that there is no better solution for this than to open the main model each time and do it through the model’s browser. I try to keep my default model empty to reduce load time and access to the model’s browser.

Old post, but here's the answer ... as far as I know, there is no alternative.

If you look in .diagram in Solution Explorer, you will see that one file contains both diagrams. Since this is a .xml file, it does not have child nodes, unlike, for example, .cs files, where you can see individual methods, etc.

I usually keep the model browser open always as a tab, so it is not too stretched or stretched to open an alternative diagram.
