Does the border turn off when using the border radius?

I have an image that has a border of 5 pixels, and I wanted to go around the corners of the image and the borders, but in webkit the image remained rectangular and the corners of the border are rounded. As a result, the image overlapped the border and created what looks like a gap between the border lines in each corner.

I would like it to look like http://jsfiddle.net/rmi14/HWDtx/19/ , but on webkit the white background is rectangular and ends with overlapping some of the light blue border and cutting it off.

You should use the overflow property for your div as it is shown in this fiddle

Sincerely.
