Remove mesh selector selector

Question

I am sure that the answer to this question is incredibly obvious, but for my life I can’t figure out how to remove the “selector” column from the default gridview winforms. (The column indicated by the red arrow).

I tried to programmatically delete the gridview.Columns[0].Remove , but just deleted my first data column. It also doesn’t appear in the “column collection”, and I played with all the settings, which looked somewhat promising.
