Is there a way to have only requirements for the StyleCop SA1600 documentation on public methods / properties?

I have been using XMLDoc for several years and have definitely grown in thinking to provide quality documentation for public methods and properties.

However, in the StyleCop style (and especially its highlighting by Resharper), I noticed that the documentation requirements apply equally to public, internal, protected, and private methods. This seems a little counter-intuitive to me, so I would ideally like to suppress it before suggestions, at least for private methods.

Unfortunately, it seems that the suppression parameter is available only through all publicly available, internal, private, etc. Am I missing something or is it design?

When you click on the "Documentation Rules" tab in the StyleCop settings, the Detailed Settings contains the checkboxes "Ignore privates" and "Ignore internal elements".
