New iPad displays iphone app Launch images as app icon, not app icon Icon

My iPhone-only app doesn’t show the icon in the new iPad, which has a mesh display. When you install the application, the application icon is displayed correctly. But after installation is complete, the application launch image is displayed as an icon, not an icon. Since this is not a universal application, there seems to be no place to configure anything for the iPad device in Xcode.

On the iPhone, including 3G, 4 and 4S, and older iPads, I don't have this problem.

I found that I did wrong, by accident. In the pl Info file of the file, Default.png and Default@2x.png added to the "Icon Files" entry. I do not know why. I guess I used to manipulate Xcode.

From Apple Docs to Application Icons :

If you are creating a universal application, you need to specify application icons in all four sizes.

IPhone and iPod touch require both of these sizes:

  • 57 x 57 pixels Icon.png
  • 114 x 114 pixels (high resolution) Icon@2x.png

IPad requires both of these sizes:

  • 72 x 72 pixels Icon-72.png
  • 144 x 144 (high resolution) Icon@2x.png

And to keep simple, you should use recommended names for each icon. Take a look at How are the icon files in my application distributed on iPad and iPhone?

The following screenshot was taken from the size of the iOS 5 media icon . enter image description here
