What are the units for Save Duration in the Save Master Data tool?

Xcode Instruments has a Core Data Saves tool. It can display “Save Duration” for each save master data. What units are used to maintain the duration? Without the humanoid delay time, I see readings from 67 to 6343.

Are these microseconds of counting, something related to processor cycles or a multiple of the tool sampling time?
