Missing icon in Windows 8 store

I recently downloaded my first app for the Windows 8 Store (cheers!)

The only problem is that although I indicated in the actual Small logo (30x30) in the application manifest, it does not appear on the Windows Store. This is a file (I hope it has not been converted by TinyPic)

What could be the problem? Perhaps an unsupported version of PNG? I noticed that there are several more applications in the store with a missing icon (urbaneous, Volksvagen Commerial Vehicles Turkey, etc.), so that they might encounter a similar problem.

Thanks Themos

Did you specify the store logo in apppackage?

Go here so you can learn more about application images.

Since you specified the file in the application manifest, it should appear when you install the application. If you sent the application during submission, it should appear on the market. I do not know about the Windows 8 procedure, but since it should not be very different from the Windows 7 procedure, this is just what I could understand. Please install and check the icons. I also hope that the icon will be used when the user minimizes your fragment to the smallest size on the start screen.

This is most likely a bug in the Microsoft part. You should make a message at: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsstore/threads

Or wait until MS updates its server. There is no such thing as an unsupported png, and this can be a number of problems.

Most likely, this will be fixed before the release of MS Windows 8.
