Error. The associated package identifier has expired.

I try to check the archive before sending it to the application store, but I keep getting the following error:

"MY NAME" is a valid identifier. However, the associated MY NAME Identity packet has expired.

There is an option to "Update Code Signing ID", but nothing happens.

What could be wrong? Any ideas?

Tip . This is not my first upload to the app store. I already did it like 100 times. The fact is that I use a different development machine and I think that perhaps this is the one who is to blame. But I'm still confused ...

I had the same problem. Removing obsolete developer certificates through Keychain Access did the trick for me.

From accessing Keychain, browsing, showing expired certificates, and deleting all of them.

I had this exact error message, and it turned out that I needed to download and install both the Mac App certificate and the Mac Installer certificate, but I just downloaded the Mac App.
