Application Expiration

In-App Billing / In-App Purchase

I am developing an application for Android and iOS.

I noticed that both services are In-App Billing .

I am worried about the expiration dates of additional services that people can buy in the app.

I know that you can bill for additional monthly and annual, but let me say that I want the user to buy additional, and the expiration date is 1 day. Is it possible?

What are the valid expiration dates?

Another question (not yet dug up) concerns the iOS In-App-Purchase , is this similar to Android one? What are the main differences (if any)?

And one more question: are there any fees that Google and Apple apply for additional services? Edit: I found out that for both of them there is 30% of the fees, meh ...

Thanks!

you have a lot of questions, I will try to answer everyone.

The way to set the expiration date to 1 day is to manage user rights at your end. This means that you can do whatever you want and just use Google / Apple for billing. On Google - you should look for β€œunmanaged” products. At Apple "supplies" you get maximum flexibility. Going to this route is a little more difficult, because you need to set up a way to track what the user purchased and when it expires.

There are several differences between buying Apple and Android apps. Google is generally a little more flexible, and Apple gives you slightly better tools. The unmanaged product in Android is the same as the consumables in Apple, and Managed is the equivalent of non-expendable.

Regarding fees - 30% - this is really their reduction. The only situation in which you can avoid paying is that you sell vouchers somewhere else (online or offline), and the user enters the voucher code into the application. This is true if the application does not direct users (i.e. Link) to a site selling vouchers.
