How to get links to images displayed in the right hand of Google

When you search, tell Bill Gates, on google,

https://www.google.com/#hl=en&sugexp=les%3B&gs_nf=1&tok=tZLQEkbVdJM-Nt6k14b-hA& p = 6 & gs_id = 3p & XHR = t & d = banknote + gate & pf = p & exit = search & sclient = psi-AB & OQ = banknote + G & gs_l = & PBX = 1 & BAV = incl. 2, or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf & Fp = c2c622f5707131aa & BIW = & amp thousand eight hundred sixty-eight; BiH = 732

you get these images from the side. I am wondering where they come from from any api to pull these image links?

I tried the Google Search Custom API. It seems that I do not get them when searching on the specified domains (e.g. google, wikipedia, etc.).

Google uses Freebase, a semantic web presentation of Wikipedia, for this knowledge graph. You can get the api key from the Google API console and make requests from freebase to search for such images. Additional information: http://wiki.freebase.com/wiki/ApiImage

Other options: you can use dbpedia (which is also a semantic web representation of Wikipedia) to find such results.
