Mechanical Turk API: Why is HITReviewStatus Always "NotReviewed"?

Even after the “Assigments” for the HIT were manually viewed and “accepted” through the Amazon Mturk interface, does the HIT still show the HITReviewStatus “NotReviewed”?

Has anyone else noticed this?

When does the HITReviewStatus change for a given HIT?

I am creating a set of automation scripts, so this status field is very important.

Thanks!

EDIT: HITReviewStatus appears only through the API when using the "GetHIT" operation

Found the answer in obscure amzn PDF:

“If an HIT is submitted that violates the Turk Engine for the relevant content, the Mechanical Turk User may request that the HIT be reviewed by the administrator. HITReviewStatus indicates whether the HIT has not been reviewed, was marked for review by the user or has been reviewed by the administrator and is deemed appropriate or inappropriate . "

SO, it looks like HITReviewStatus is an internal audit status for AMZN.
