No "IIS 7 Deployment Handler" in Web Deployment Installer (MSI)

Question

I am trying to install Web Deployment Tool 2.0 on my Windows Server 2008 R2.

The problem is that during the installation, I do not see the "IIS 7 Deployment Handler" option on the function settings screen during installation, while I CAN see it if I install it on a similar server.

I suspect that my main server does not meet some requirements, but which ones? Or is the problem in another area?

So, I have found a solution. The Management Service was not installed on my primary server. After I installed it (IIS → Add Role Service → Management Tools → Management Service), it started working as expected
