How to check manifest manifest file?

I recently had an error that was caused by a damaged AndroidManifest.xml file. Is it possible to check for corrupted AndroidManifest.xml files from eclipse?

Or is there a schema file for the manifest to test against?

Corruption was that I forgot the tag "intent-filter" of activity. I got a no error in eclipse or my application.

<activity android:name=".ActivityExample" android:label="activity"> <action android:name="android.appwidget.action.APPWIDGET_CONFIGURE" /> </activity>

If you ask for node confirmation, then eclipse will do it for you .... otherwise Cooktop is a good xmls checker.

And if you want to check according to the manifest scheme, follow this link .... http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/manifest-intro.html

Hope this helps.

Try deleting this file and cleaning the build of this project .. I think this will work for you.
