How to manage update / reboot in iOS?

I would like to do 3 things, and I do not know how: (

• Automatic updates every 5 minutes on View controllers
• Add reset button on my navigation unit
• Automatically close the application while transferring in the background.

Are there any functions for initiating an update, for example, a countdown from the moment the application starts?

Methods [myView setNeedsDisplay]; and [myTableView reloadData]; can help. You can start the timer when the application starts and call these methods every 5 minutes. But when you ask me ... It does not make sense. No one else uses the app for more than 1 or 2 minutes.
