Adding a calendar with ACCOUNT_TYPE_LOCAL in Android 4 crashes in the calendar

I want to add a new calendar on Android that is not syncing. I wrote an application that does this using the new CalendarContract API from API level 14. The following code works fine. I can see the new calendar in the Android Android application and add events to it.

The problem is that the Android Android app crashes when I select: Menu → Calendars to display → Calendars to sync

Is there something wrong in my code or is it an error in the Android calendar?

Remember that I do not want to use a sync adapter. The CalendarContract.Calendars documentation says that this is not necessary: ​​"If a local calendar is required, the application can do this by inserting it as a synchronization adapter and using ACCOUNT_TYPE from ACCOUNT_TYPE_LOCAL." I understand that "insert as a sync adapter" means adding (CalendarContract.CALLER_IS_SYNCADAPTER, "true") to the URI.
