The width of the vertex frame in the network R

Question

My question follows here on how to change the width of the vertex frame in igraph.

With the upgrade in igraph, the proposed solution does not seem to work anymore. Does anyone have a solution (or maybe knows another package that provides networks with variable vertex border widths?)

You can define a new vertex shape that has a border width option. It is not very difficult, see an example here: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/igraph-help/2013-03/msg00030.html
