FLASH save frame, image (tiff, bmp, jpg, gif, png)

Question

The type name explains itself. I do some "decorative" work in flash. Now I want to save the frame without taking a screenshot and so on and so forth. And maybe one day I will want to save a batch of personnel.

Is there an AS3 class / library that could help me?

In fact, using the just released Flash 10, you can save on HD! It is very convenient, only for this situation. It is perfectly protected, because it allows you to save the file only after the user clicks "Save" in the file’s dialog box, you can’t just write files perforce. In addition, code has already been written that allows you to take pictures using BitmapData and compress PNG or JPEG. I would recommend PNG because it is lossless, which is good for the work you create.

Do you want to save the file to your hard drive or website?

If the hard drive may have a hard time if you are not using Air. Due to the secure Flash sandbox, you cannot write arbitrary files to the user's hard drive.

If you absolutely must save it to the user's hard drive using Flash rather than Air, you will probably have to send the bitmap data to a server-side PHP (or similar) script, which will then allow the user to load and save the image in one place or another .
