When I profile, I can see some data with ms (for milliseconds), but I also see μs. What does μs mean in JProfiler?
This means microseconds, which are 1 / 1000th of a millisecond (1000 μs = 1 ms). The Greek letter mu (μ) is the SI prefix for micro- .
As others have said, it’s 1000 times less than a millisecond and this is a standard measurement (not just for jprofiler.)
There's a nice table here that lists various units, including microseconds!
Microseconds = 1000 million seconds
