Joomla page title (shown twice)

I have a problem with the name of my pages in Joomla 2.5.2.

For example, my site name will be: "Big PROJECT", and I set the parameter "Include the site name in the page title" to "earlier".

In the settings of my menu items in "Page Display Settings" I set "Browser Page Name" to "Home". When I set it to uppercase "H", the title is displayed as follows: "Big PROJECT - big PROJECT - HOME". If I set the lowercase "h" ("home"), the page title appears as "Large PROJECT-home", without displaying the site name twice.

Is there something I missed? Why does the title display the site name twice when there is a menu title bar?

The problem was that the plugin is being used for the drop-down menu. I uninstalled this plugin and tested it in the regular menu, and everything was fine.

It really took me a while to figure out how I was trying to fine-tune and tune to get it working.

Hope this can help someone ... Always check the plugins!
