Getting “An internal error occurred during:“ Compaction resource model. ”While building a project in indigo eclipse

When creating a project in eclipse indigo, the following error occurs:

An internal error occurred during: "Compacting resource model". Java heap. 
  • Is this a memory problem?

  • Is it possible to compile one package in eclipse (such as netbeans, for example)? I had a similar memory problem in netbeans, but I circumvented it by combining fewer packets at a time.

I compiled the same project in ganemede without any problems.

Open the eclipse configuration file folder (eclipse.ini) from the eclipse directory

-vmargs -Xms128m -Xmx512m -XX: MaxPermSize = 128m

I increased -Xmx by 1 GB, from 3 to 4 (-Xmx4120m), and I still have Eclipse doing some kind of washing (4.5 GB taken from my operating system), but at least I can work (edit and save files). Previously, with 3 GB, I could not - Eclipse turned pale. Plus - I closed 3 projects that I did not use.
