Show files on FTP in a Rails application

Question

We have an FTP site for clients, and they simply go to it using a web browser and see the files. I would like to display files in a more attractive way, is there a way to show which files are on the server in the view, maybe iterate over them and erase them?

I found this answer here, but actually did not answer my question:
