At http://acko.net/ , when I click on the “Archive” arrow, it will show a “boot” snapshot and when it is done, a good transition will take me to the next page. And what makes me curious (and crazy), when he moved to the next page, the URL changed! And further. When you use the web inspector and enter history.go(-1); It also shows the transition. I saw this, and I keep saying, “What the hell!”
So how is this achieved ??? This site does not make any sense to me, since I thought that history.go() reload the entire web page, but actually it is not. This site is absolutely awesome, including the 3D animation at the top. (Webkit required)
