I am a developer from korea. (sorry for my broken english earlier :()
I will make an Android application that can play streaming video in real time (1 min, 6 ~ 7 Mb) using a web server. (At least 20,000 ~ 30,000 users can connect to this at the same time) I donβt want to spend my time creating a server, DB..etc, so I decided to use the Google mechanism to work to make it easy.
However, one of my colleagues told me that the Google engine for applications is not suitable for the streaming service, and he recommended using the google engine service with Google cloud storage.
My first question is: what is now useful with Google Maps with the Google service? If so, it provides good streaming quality (even Korea, not the US. I mean the location of the IDC)
Second question: If not, what about using the Google application engine with the mobile streaming hosting service in Korea? perhaps?
