How to enable keyboard shortcut in Mac X11 xterm?

On my mbp, I open xterm under X11 and I want to paste from the clipboard. However, the + v command does not work, and there is not even an option in the edit menu. Is it impossible? If so, how do I enable it?

Have you tried Pasteboard settings in X11? In addition, many keyboard shortcuts for X11 actually use ctrl instead of Command (for example, in GIMP and Inkscape).
