My custom views are not displayed

Question

I created the /views/user/ folder using rails g devise:views , but the rails g devise:views are still used in development.

Am I missing a configuration somewhere?

Yes, read the documentation and add to your config/initializers/devise.rb

 config.scoped_views = true 

Also see that rails g devise:views create an app/views/devise containing all the necessary views. If you do not have many Devise models in the application, NOT , use the solution above, but just edit the files in app/views/devise .
